To start off, Belstaff presented casual metallic jackets, ranging from roomy parkas to tough lambskin biker jackets in tin-foil silver paired with crisp whites for utmost summer chic.
Luxury darling Tom Ford’s ready-to-wear collection features dazzling clubwear fit for a shimmy – cut-to-the-navel, extravagant beaded dresses, party-ready, glimmering paneled dresses, and flashy metallic jackets to sass up an outfit were all in play. And his Natalia Mirror Python Mini Bags are downright irresistible, in either gold or silver (or both, why not?).
Metallics are shining especially bright in the accessories of SS16: Giorgio Armani kept things playful with copper polka dots and Kenzo joined the glimmering parade with an iridescent phone holder, holographic wallets and handbags.
Of course, Michael Kors couldn’t say no to the glossy movement, and has updated their ever-popular Savannah satchels in a golden palette.
Twinkle toes are in too, obviously: Roberto Cavalli’s rose gold ankle lace up booties, as well as Givenchy’s killer pointy-toed metallic silver slingback heels are just a few examples.
